答案是B

OG 对于C的解释是： this suggests taht the chalice acts to prevent itsown theft 对于avoid 和keep it from 没有理解好请大神讲解

今天重新看了一下帖子发现自己可以解释了很开心。。因为to do的动作发出者是主语也就是这里的chalice 所以to avoid就是错的，因为这个动作不该是chalice发出但是to keep it from 又把这个宾语重复了一遍主语就可以是别人了
