可E的官方解释说现在完成时错了？ 而且as each was a child也不对，这里我不太清楚

个人觉得是： when they were children这个动作是过去式，所以你要么用过去式，要么用过去完成时，就是说当他们还是小孩的时候(过去式)，离婚发生或者已经发生了，离婚这个事件伴随的是一个过去的动作，所以不可能用现在完成时。
