A. the numbers of trucks alone

B. that number of trucks alone

C. the number of trucks by themselves

D. as many trucksthemselves

E. as many trucks by themselves

正确答案为B。很纳闷，后半句不是应该是trucks came of lines吗？如果用B的话就变成twice that number came of the lines 了吗？？
求解！

这是比较句型 twice/double sth 是…的两倍
