标题: 关于not only but also 的一个问题
在CHASEDREAM PREP08 的笔记里，有这样一段话：在正常语序中，短语本身不可加入其它成分，比如变成mot only ......but it also是错误的（因为破坏了平衡），但是下面又举了个《新编英语语法》章振邦1005：She was not only compelled to stay at home, but she was also forbidden to see her friends,这样在前者观点不是和后面这个例子冲突了吗？求解释

当时是看到GWD上的这一道题：

像选项A就有这样not only。。。。。。But it also的出现，所以当时CD语法笔记的总结里就出现了这一条
1.在正常语序中: not only … but also 应连接两个相对称的并列成分。例如：

Not only MrLin but also his son joined the Party two years ago. （连接两个主语）

I not onlyplay tennis but also practise shooting. （连接两个谓语动词）

He plays not only the piano but also the violin. （连接两个宾语
所以我还是担心会出现~~~

倒桩情况下插入but also之间it是正确的

but also单独出现中间可以插入代词，我记得og13就有道题，admiration of XX as XX， but XX also XXX。
然后not only倒装的时候， but also之间也可以插入。prep还是大全里就有一道是这样用的。

请问not only倒装是什么意思，可以举个例子吗谢谢

sorry,和g分手太久真的记不清了~隐约记得 not only置于句首时候句子要倒桩。Not only are you smart，but also you are pretty~
