A答案解释说 it makes no sense to say that the fossils made it the earliest known mammal. 是什么意思啊化石使得sloth是最早动物不可以么

不可以，是发现化石且确定年代使得的。
而且it指代不清，不知道是arm还是sloth，正确选项特地重复了the sloth来避免歧义。

亲谢谢你的回答我想问一下你是怎么判断代词指代不清的代词指代有什么规则么我觉得自己学的有点混乱我判断代词指代问题的时候一直都是靠读句子觉得别扭的时候才觉得是代词指代的错
