答案是B没有问题，但老题新问想到一个其他的地方
在这里，combination of A and B, 由于combination自身的含义，因此这里B和A做平行
我想问的是，用其他的词替代combination，比如effect of A and B, B能直接和effect平行吗（而不是和A平行）？或者说我能写成effect of A and of B 的结构吗？

应该指 [effect of A] + [B]

关于楼主的问题 effect of A and B，这就是GMAT最忌讳的ambiguous，通俗来说就是你到底要说啥？
＝effect of A and B of... / effect of A and of B... / effect of A and B????? who knows!!!!

我想楼主在这里纠结的是the conbination of a reliable supply of water and good growing conditions 到底平行在哪里。
1）从语义上分析，2样东西encourage farming traditions that ...... 跨度是600年。
2) 从语法上分析，combination of A and (of) B ＋V，both要来干嘛？有了combination还要both，未免太多余了，剩下BCE。那么分析endure，endure一般用作持续性名词（读这个词也可以感觉出来），那么后面的6000年，基本就是for了，那么在时间状语很明确是for 6000 year的情况下，endure用完成时，即that have endured for。那么E为啥错呢？既然你用了endure表示持续的意境了再用enduring未免也太重复了，gmat说要简介啊！

我的理解是，combination因为自身含义的原因，可以直接combination of A and B;
但是如果是effect表示平行就不能effect of A and B，而要effect of A and of B(前提原句强调的是effect of A, effect of B

我觉得LZ没必要想那么多见题杀题具体分析吧以句子没有ambiguous为准
一开始我做这题的时候倾向选带of的因为想要和of water平行嘛但后来一想a reliable supply.... of good growing conditions意思好像不太好
看OG之后才发现有和第一个of并列的歧义

我觉得楼主说的A和B平行，主要是因为没有歧义
如果combination后面没有of a reliable supply of water and of good growing conditions是可以平行的
但因为有了前面那个of 意思可以理解成the combination of a reliable supply of water and the combination of good growing conditons
