标题: 关于指代的题目求NN解释一下

Between 1990 and 2000 the global economy grew more than it did during the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture to 1950.

EThe growth of the global economy between 1990 and 2000 exceeded what it did for the 10,000 years from the beginning of agriculture 分析E选项A是正确答案可是it不是指代同状态的名词么 it 应该指的不是 1990-2000的全球经济么？ B 我不太清楚from when 。。。。to 有什么不妥求解释这题我错选了B

Between 在 global economy 之后才是修饰 global economy
才应该算进it的完全指代

from X to Y, X和Y这里应该是两个名词性的时间点
when引导的从句不是

你还是不太熟悉that的用法，B选项前半句就不对，如果是the growth of global economy between……were more than that……，还说的过去

后边from when 这个问题问得稍微有点奇怪，when引导从句做from宾语，但是你想想when在这里要做什么？它要做1000years的定语，你什么时候见过这种用法，when本身想到与in which，它可以做连词，介词，副词，但是它是关系副词，绝对不可以这样用，混淆了副词和代词

when的那个我懂了可是B that不能指代 the growth of the global economy么你修改的句子好像就是把between 的介词短语移动到the growth。。。后面了啊这样修改就能用that了？能讲的详细一点么

你不应该说红苹果比苹果红，而应该说红苹果比绿苹果红。between放在句首它是一个状语，放到后边它是一个定语，也就是说that和the growth of global economy是同类事物“苹果” 但是两个比较必须有不同的定语。表明两个苹果的亚类进行性质的比较，你不能前边的没有定语后边的加上一个定语，这样就成了前边的包含后边的。没有办法比较。
这个意思很简直，但是我说起来反而很复杂，不知道你明白我的意思了没有。

介词短语做定语只能后置不能前置么？ between 1990 and 2000 放在前面就是状语了么这个用法我不知道能给我讲讲么

你说的那个比较的对称性我听懂了是不是A比较的是两个时间下的动作？但有个疑问开始读我还感觉到 grow不能用 more 来修饰所以把A给PASS了

the game on sunday is interesting。这句话是说星期天的游戏有趣，对应星期六的其他游戏，

on Sunday the game is interesting .星期天的时候，游戏有趣。对应同一游戏其他日子。

想问下a it did during 。。。这里就没错了吗？前面只有the global economy grew不是？没有定语啊。不就是说经济增长和during the 1000 years 的经济增长相比？？

（来自Ron）there's nothing ungrammatical about 'from when', because the clause starting with 'when' is a perfectly legitimate noun clause (i.e., 'when agriculture began' serves as a noun. however:
- it's possible that the gmat does consider such constructions wrong; the only way to tell is to see if they say so in any official answer choices
- regardless of where the gmat stands on the issue, 'the beginning of agriculture' is unquestionably better than 'when agriculture began' (i.e., an actual noun is almost always superior to a circuitous noun clause, when possible)
