老版本OG的一道题，不只是第几版第几题：

其中C选项：
Because they are growing and are seldom in equilibrium, new small businesses are not subject to the same applicability of formulas for cash flow and the ratio of debt to quity as established big bisniesses.

说这句话错误的原因是“applicability”是抽象词。
1、我觉得在句子中，applicability从意思上来说很合适啊？
2、抽象词不好吗？

我觉得你应该把原题放上来，只看一个选项怎么知道作者想要表达的逻辑意思？
OG的很多题都是比出来的，不然为什么要给你5个选项？直接给一句话叫你改错不就得了？
你这种问法就好比放了一张芙蓉姐姐的照片问我们：美不美？为什么不美？不美在哪里？
看跟谁比啊？林志玲？黑猩猩？

我觉得错在and:
A and B do not do C这是OK的。
但是A do not do B and C，这是错误的。应该是A do not do B or C.
你用这个思路再看看CDE。

"formulas for cash flow and the ratio of debt to equity"是一个整体，讲财务等式的~

会不会是因为 the applicability 冗余了，直接subject to the formulas 就行了？

1. applicability is so awkward
个人感觉这里application要更合适

more importantly
2. small businesses are not subject to the same applicability as big businesses ARE
如果你要比较的是 small business 和 big business
那你需要把主谓都补全否则会有宾语applicability和big business 比较的歧义
