When browsing schools for PE placement, you'll find a funny trick
that is--there's no typical school for PE
but rather the better the schools, the higher percentage of PE placement
why? because PE is a game for "the Rich"
and rich people always hire top graduates
simply because they're rich!
so if you really want to serve these extremely rich people
you need to be the very BEST!
On the other hand, the problem is, with 6 yr IB exp, you should have the "network" and "expertise" to get in PE already
schools want to see things happen by itself, rather than bearing the responsibility for facilitating your career goals
and once you can get in PE by yourself before MBA
you'll "naturally" enter prestigious b-schools like GSB and HBS (need a higher T though)

Hello there,
Thanks for writing. You seem to have a very good profile, with lots of experience in a great industry, and a fantastic GMAT. Probably the best thing for you to do is to look into the schools from which PE houses hire: Columbia, Wharton, HBS, Stanford, NYU, Kelly, Sloan, Booth… Your GMAT and numbers seem to be high enough for Top 20 schools, so with a great application, you should have some great options out there for you!
