0G13 35 By 1940, the pilot Jacqueline Cochran held seventeen official national and international speed records, and she earned them at a time when aviation was still so new for many of the planes she flew to be of dangerously experimental design.
A. and she earned them at a time when aviation was still so new for many of the planes she flew to be
B. earning these at a time that aviation was still so new for many of the planes she flew to be
C. earning these at a time where aviation was still so new that many of the planes she flew were
D. earned at a time in which aviation was still so new such that many of the planes she flew were
E. earned at a time when aviation was still so new that many of the planes she flew were
B项,earning的用法 og中表示是错误的,因为”close to speed records, while take Piolt as subject, make this sentence hard to process “。= =

B C 选项,these 不能用作代词,不能裸奔,必须接名词:this tree, these records
它要求 v-ing 要么与主句是同时发生的伴随动作,要么是主句的直接结果;
Dickinson's letter那道题,(A)选项的"outnumbering ..."
"He read OG for eight times, hoping for a stellar GMAT score. "
这个句子才是说,"hoping for a stellar GMAT score"对于"read OG for eight times"来说,是个"simultaneous, but lower-priority, action" (by Ron)
He read OG, practicing over 500 questions. (我们知道OG包括over 500 questions,所以"practicing over 500 questions"是补充说明解释"he read OG")
