标题: GMAT 关于result的用法 求指导 高手来啊

  这题B选项对的啊，A选项 is a result of 有这种用法么？ 划线部分有人解释说sandpipers 后面被vanishing 修饰，中心词还是sandpipers，也就是名词不能成为 result什么的。。。不知道这种解释对不对  请高手看看

  这题选E这个选项  关于CE 区分的时候  RON 的解释就是stinger 不是 个action  object不能导致 结果  只有action 可以导致
  那E  这个选项 怎么翻译啊。。。with是伴随啊？是 怎么的 第一次看见这么 with 结构  里面还有谓语 求高手给我分析一下 E选项  翻译一下

A is a result of B  是不是 A导致了B 啊？

你是不是还没开始学习逻辑部分？这是逻辑题中的基本结构啊。
A is a result of B 就是A is a result。既然A是结果，那B就是原因呗。B-->A，箭头指向必要条件。

学习了  只是不系统    那as a result of  也是B 导致A喽

第一题，未划线部分like开头表示对比，主句主语必须是名词CD秒死。E也秒死，比较对象不对等。
剩下A和B。看意思：句子的意思是 the grassy fields and old pastures 跟sandpipers同样都是因为 residential and industrial development and of changes in farming practices而vanishing了。
B的结构显然更好：the grassy fields and old pastures/sandpipers都是vanishing in the northeastern United States as a result of residential and industrial development and of changes in farming practices.
A选项变成：the grassy fields and old pastures is  is a result of residential and industrial development and of changes in farming practices.这显然不是对的。

你的问题：A选项 is a result of 有这种用法么？
答：有。逻辑题里常有。

划线部分有人解释说sandpipers 后面被vanishing 修饰，中心词还是sandpipers，也就是名词不能成为 result什么的。。。不知道这种解释对不对
答：看我上面的解释。类似于“你看了答案还问题很多，（这）让我很郁闷”和“看了答案还问题很多的你让我很郁闷”哪个更好？这个人不会让我郁闷，是这个人做了这件事才让我郁闷。

第二题。C中 heavily barbed and staying where it is inserted做The honeybee's stinger的定语，句子主干还是
stinger导致了a fatal injury。这不是最优的表达方法。
E中The honeybee's stinger is heavily barbed and stays where it is inserted是个句子，表达的意思更清晰。
with the result that the act of stinging causes a fatal injury是个独立主格：with 名词+that从句。prep07有讲这个结构，这也是with型独立主格的基本形态之一。
你说的对，with是伴随，也翻译成伴随着act of stinging causes a fatal injury这个结果，The honeybee's stinger is heavily barbed and stays where it is inserted。

说实话，我真不知道你为什么会困惑。
A is/as a result of B这个结构有两种可能的理解方式：
1、（A is/as a result） of B，A是结果
2、A is/as （a result of B），A还是结果（B的结果）

不管怎么理解A都是结果啊。你怎么可能会可能有反向的理解呢。。。

明白了  谢谢  我逻辑超级烂。。。需要想超久 才能明白A>>>B还是B>>>A
