其中的解释：

是什么意思啊？“steers”在这里是不是小牛的意思啊？

From my understanding of the above definition. Steer has no the ability to breed. If so, then how would someone do cross-breeding "to acquire certain characteristics in their steers"?

Paradox I am confused about between

(1)Steer whose sex organs are removed;

(2) Cross-breeding.

楼上的问题实在太专业了...

从句意理解, crossbreeding也可以是steer的父母之间发生, 从而在steer身上有certain charateristics.

另外a young male cow whose sex organs have been removed，就是说阉了的小公牛，只是没有了性器官，并不妨碍它们有从父母杂交得到的特点。

should只能表示"应该"的语气么,怎么我好象在那道题里曾经看到should有表示对未来进行预测的用法,所以就选了D,之前还以为本题是考察的是平行对称结构和should的特殊用法呢.请NN指教
