此题的比较结构能理解，就是对于句子成分的理解有些问题，A选项是正确答案，但是这句话的成分是怎么划分的，这个are总觉得很多余，have children do sth不就可以了吗，这个are是什么意思，求大牛解答~~~万分感谢

因为as可以引导定语从句 Authoritative parents are more likely than permissiveparents to have children who as adolescents are self-confident, high inself-esteem, and responsibly independent. 楼主说 have...to... 这些孩子成长到adolescents才凸显出self-confident, high inself-esteem, and respons这些品格 have children to be self-confident, high inself when they become adolescents？那么没有这个选项啊！
