不过og147我也有问题：

正确选项不需要补全介词吗？虽然逻辑意思上不合理，但语法上仍可以认为是省略了助动词did,这样的话就不正确了，等待大家的帮助！

因为og解释没有提到viewing的问题，og只说view .. to be错，我想确认一下是不是rather than viewing是否应该改成rather than viewed 或rather than did.

此外我认为正确答案应该补上介词as,虽然我知道og这样写，肯定是可以不用加as的，但我想知道为什么？

我觉得应该是viewed，感觉用viewing就和前面的a property arrangement并列了

rather than同than虽然都连词, 而且都有比较的意思, 但两者的用法不一样.

rather than: 不是...而是... 它的比较局限于位于rather than前后的两样东西的比较. OG55和OG147里的rather than可以看出都是宾语或者宾补的比较. 所以省略to 或者as不引起歧义.

而OG4O里rather than前后比较的是介词引导的状语, 省略介词会产生歧义.

rather than being＋名词的搭配永远错

rather than用在句首表示动作对比，后面可跟（1）do（2）doing；

用在句中则用动词原形（3－20）

　　1. rather than 与would 连用时，构成“would rather...than...”句式，意思是“宁愿……而不愿……”，表示主观愿望，即在两者之中选择其一。例如：

　　2. rather than 不与would连用时，表示客观事实，意为“是……而不是……；与其……不如……”。它连接的并列成分可以是名词、代词、形容词、介词(短语)、动名词、分句、不定式、动词等。现分述如下：

　　(1) 连接两个名词或代词

　　He is an explorer rather than a sailor. 与其说他是一个海员，不如说他是一个探险者。

　　注意：rather than 连接两个名词或代词作主语时，谓语动词应与rather than 前面的名词或代词在人称和数上保持一致。

　　(3) 连接两个介词(短语)或动名词

　　注意：rather than 后接不定式时，不定式可以带to，也可以不带to, 如上句。但rather than位于句首时，则只能接不带to 的不定式。如：Rather than allow the vegetables to go bad, he sold them at half price. 他唯恐蔬菜烂掉，把它们以半价卖掉了。

　　(6) 连接两个动词

　　He ran rather than walked. 他是跑来的，而不是走来的。

　　注意：这里rather than 后用了walked，而没有用walk，表示客观事实，而不是主观愿望。如果换成walk，则作“宁愿……而不愿 ……”解。

为什摸说C中的LIKE 修饰ARRANGEMENT呢? 如果这样的话,D中的LIKE 是修饰MARRIAGE还是SAMUEL SEWALL 呢????

like放在句中或句尾时，修饰紧邻其前面的词，如果紧邻其前面没有词，则修饰前面这句话的主语。

OG11-125:

正确：

Samuel, like other 17th-centrury colonist, view marriage as....

错误：

Samuel views marriage as a property management, like other 17th-centrury colonists,....

OG11-122:

Dr. McClintock reported that genes can "jump", like pearls moving previously from onr necklace to another.
