(B)       that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish discrete sounds and words and, as a result, to make
(C)       that it hampers the ability of some children todistinguish discrete sounds and words and, the result of this, they are unable to make
(D)       that it hampers the ability of some children todistinguish discrete sounds and words, andresults in not making
(E)       as to hamper the ability of some children fordistinguishing discrete sounds and words, resulting in being unable to make

答案是B~俺逻辑意思有点搞不明白~~觉得B答案to make前面是不是要加个not呢？还有~D为什么不行呢~~求各位大神们指点一下~~感激不尽~~~=3=

1. 不用加not，and to make是平行前面的 to distinguish。
抽出结构就是：it hampers the ability...to distinguish...and to make sense...如果加了not句子意思整个就反了
2. results这个形式就成了和hampers平行，那么it就成了施动者，而it指代的是pace；明显这里平行错了
