标题: 请教一道og上的题目
阅读大神关于og语法的笔记的时候，产生了一点疑问，题目与大神的笔记如下

6. In late 1997, the chambers inside the pyramid of the Pharaoh Menkaure at Giza were closed to visitors for cleaning and repair due to moisture exhaled by tourists, which raised its humidity to such levels so that salt from the stone was crystallizing and fungus was growing on the walls.

(A) due to moisture exhaled by tourists, which raised its humidity to such levels so that salt from the stone was crystallizing

(B) due to moisture that tourists had exhaled, thereby raising its humidity to such levels that

思路：

A选项，its指代复数名词chambers不对，而且due to 没有because好，因果关系不明确。Due to 后面需要加直接原因；such levels so that 连用错误

B: its指代复数名词chambers不对，而且due to 没有because好，因果关系不明确; the stone would crystallize不平行，…and fungus was growing…；raising修饰有歧义，有伴随colsed的嫌疑；

C: the stone would crystallize…and fungus was growing不平行； them好像指代了tourists，因为tourists在主语的位置上；such that错误，such 不能直接加that; were exhaling有错误~不是过去时里面持续发生的一种状态，不需要用were doing的形式来表示，表达的是旅客过去一直在呼出湿气，到现在还没结束。

D: because of不能清晰的表达原因，后面需要加直接原因；because of sth. doing (because of doing)肯定是不如because从句的，法律法规除外，because of laws doing 可以； make the salt from the stone crystallize and fungus was growing…不平行；them好像指代了tourists

请问为何cd中them存在指代问题，e中不存在呢？代词的指代优先顺序是什么？

c和d中，tourists都出现在从句中，因此可能出现歧义。
e中 exhaled by tourists 是修饰moisture的短语，因此后面的them没有指代歧义

代词指代顺序有什么规律么？

说实话，没有绝对的顺序，只有相对的。
一般来说，紧挨着代词的那个名词不会是指代对象，距离太远的一般也不会是。整个句子的主语是代词指代对象的机会更大一些。
可以看一下曼哈顿关于代词的这一章，我觉得讲的十分清楚。
