NOT  ANY  HAPPIER 与NO  HAPPIER 的区别是什么?


很明显,一个是三个单词,另一个是两个单词;简洁性要求,选两个单词的。

不同点在B和C中:

1) cause > are the cause of
2) . weather conditions that cannot be foreseen>. unforeseeable weather conditions, 因为有情态动词cannot ,不行轻易改为形容词
3) than anticipated is idiom. we shall not use had anticipated.

no happies > not any happier , pls see the explanation of OG which implicitly stated that no happier is idiom while not any happier is undiom.

was advised of ... told is parralled.

he could not leave and interrogated is also parralled.
