标题: 分享 NUS Career Service 演讲
前段时间NUS在北，上，广，深四个城市举行information session。今年NUS的巡讲邀请Nonsheen女士(NUS Career Service Officer)介绍新加坡当地的就业情况。对于打算选择去新加坡读书的人算是非常有用的信息。
这次演讲是公开的，所以演讲的内容也不需保密。我把我听讲座过程中记录的笔记，以及讲座使用的slides分享在论坛里，希望对赴新加坡读书感兴趣的同学有所帮助。

我分享的是从career service获得的客观信息。而悲观与乐观都是主观的看法。

演讲里边没有提到。
不过我可以分享你一些信息。新加坡是世界上保有汽车成本最高的国家。光是允许开车上路的拥车证就需要50万人民币，而且有效期是8年。所以新加坡只有十分之一左右的家庭拥有汽车。
因此，车企不会在意新加坡市场吧

As celavi said, the automobile sector in Singapore is very special.

The cost of owning automobile in Singapore is very high. For example, the price of BMW 320i is about CNY 350,000 in China. In Singapore, the price is about SGD 230,000. Also, the latest bidding price of COE (validating 10 years only) is about SGD 80,000 for >1,600cc.

But there are many functions in automobile sector. Manufacturing, of course, is not available in Singapore. However, Singapore is regional HQ for some companies. You could work in some supporting functions, e.g. procurement and supply chain, in companies like Toyota Tsusho. Those jobs rely heavily on your previous experience.

毕业薪酬2000-5000一个月。。。取个中间值3500元，才1.8w人民币，太低了吧。。。这个收入，想拿PR的身份都苦难。。。

Some 印度同学会接受2000到5000的薪水，甚至还是CFA Chart Holder。他们觉得留在新加坡比回印度好。你看到新加坡的人才市场竞争是什么样了吧

Hi Celavi , your notes should be wrong, a foreigner can't stay & work in SG legally without income above S$3,300, bx the minimum salary for EP application is SGD3,300. If a person's monthly income is lower than 5K, s/he is not holding an MBA job. As I mentioned before, some students can't get MBA jobs, bx of unqualified background.. But as you mentioned, 3K ~5K is competitive enough for people from developing nations.

具体数字有误差。不过毕业后的工作与收入还是看个人的争取，这点是没错的。竞争与机会并存。

楼主你好，没有说CFA对于金融找工作很重要吧，只是说有的话锦上添花，如果不去做asset mana 或者portfolo的话，CFA没有太大作用

我是NTU MBA的，据我了解，在新加坡工作的同学并没有月薪低于5500新币的，所以lz实在太低估了，NUS和我们应该是差不多的

我觉得这个写的挺好的,后来几年的形势也验证了. 新加坡经济体量小,在经济趋软的形势下会优先保护本地就业.
