标题: [求定位]：楼主这背景这理想。。诚心求定位
背景：本科是国内重点大学会计专业，在国内工作了三年咨询。GMAT720 （还有效，但需要重考）美国读过一个综合排名50名左右学校的商科硕士。绿卡身份。

MBA以后短期内想做投资方面的工作（在tech corp里面或者在fund里面均可在美国最好，在中国也可以）

现在楼主刚结束美国学习开始在洛杉矶的一家有十年历史的互联网公司工作，产品广为人知的，做战略经理。在美读硕士的时候在全球TOP的两大电影娱乐公司总部均做过实习，商务战略部门。

之前问题问过是否要回国工作，好像大家普遍反映美国工作经验更被ADCOM看重，所以暂时不考虑回国的那些机会了。

LZ理想是UC B。。但是其实自己并没有技术背景，只是一直在做TMT行业的项目，除了UCB之外大家还有其他觉得合适的学校推荐吗？

If you already have 2-3 years of w/e in US, I would say go for it! otherwise, maybe not if u plan on applying for top mba

而lz就是其中一位
有綠卡方便就業是巨優勢，念完美碩士免托福更是如虎添翼
要解釋為何已經有美商碩了還要一個MBA
本科要嘛211要嘛985
也要解釋為何只念了個普通商碩，現在卻要申頂尖MBA
不過已經在LA做人盡皆知的產品戰略，很好解釋
口語也沒問題
G可能還有效，但要750上下
已在國內三年諮詢是優勢，可以多積累美國經驗
然而要確立目標
到底要不要tech
對MBA來說當然有最好，因為科技投資比一般投資米更多
又更容易就業
尤其老美自我感覺良好，覺得自己是頂尖，整天在想人類的下一步
要進去體驗體驗,可以告訴他們東西方的下一步
國內投資工作多如牛毛,再找都有
相對美國經驗比較難得
出來薪水翻更高
甚至有可能接觸一些VC
透過network進去lz就發了
也更容易受到AO青睞
因為MBA正苦尋不著vc的下一步，基本都是tech
還需要lz來貢獻經驗
這樣s16尤其Haas才能十拿九穩

为啥我觉得楼主的背景申请西岸（假设楼主的目标学校是西岸的）的学校们，哪一所都够了～

另外想请问楼主的绿卡是工作以后雇主给办的吗？可以站短我啦：）

我的是个人办的
我记得如果雇主办的话需要起码拿H1B在雇主那工作好几年才可以申请办绿卡 H1B对于非技术类国际学生找工作也是一道很大的门槛

congrats on your fantastic GMAT! I don't think you need to retake. A 720 is good enough for any school. Now there's one thing I really didn't get about your profile. You write that you have a Business Masters degree but that you want an MBA. But what do you want an MBA for if you already have one? OR is it a different type of degree? And what type of degree?

I'd love to help you out with school suggestions, but I need more info about your undergrad school and grad school, your age and gender, and work experience as well to give you come more concrete suggestions.

Hi Jon,

Here are some of my background info:
Undergrad school: 211 school in Beijing, major in accounting, double major English, graduated in 2009;
Female, Age 26
Worked for half a year in a government relations consulting firm in Beijing and 2.5 years in investment consulting firm in Beijing(clients are renowned global PEs). Then moved to LA for master degree in Sept. 2012(also for family reunion), major in Global Business (enrolled as MBA candidate but switched to Global Business major in the second year). I started working at a LA-based internet company as Strategy Manager three months ago.

My short term goal is to work in tech/consumer investment field in Nor Cal(fund or corp. M&A, focus on growth/strategic investment). Long term is to go back and work in China in the similar field or start my own venture.

I look forward to hearing your target school suggestion and general application direction. Thank you in advance

已经有商科硕士了干嘛非还要MBA？？？？
如果非要去，那在职MBA比较适合吧
