标题: og 13-67 关于being的困惑，求解答
OG13--SC 67题！题目如下：
the 32 species that make up the dolphin family are closely related to whales and in fact include the animal konwn as the killer whale, which can grow to be 30 feet long and isfamouse for its aggressive hunting pods.

我明白A是对的，也知道C 的问题，不过OG的解释上面说，c选项除了growing 修饰不明确之外，后面的being是多余的，为什么？ being不是刚好与growing对称吗？而且后面为be famous for 的结构，语义要表达完整也需要这个“be”...
求各位NN给予解答~~~~~

简单的谈一下，be famous for结构没有错，但要看它这里起的作用。famous 本身就是形容词，在这里完全可以做定语修饰名词the killer whale，不需要再用being famous 表达。而growing不一样，grow是动词，所以它要来修饰名词要变成现在分词growing。我想，这应该就是OG如此解释的原因。
