Work experience in this context is defined as full-time employment beginning after you've earned your undergraduate degree. So what does that mean to you?

Well, that really depends on the institution. All schools are required to look at your post-undergraduate work experience, but many schools will also consider other types of work experience as part of the review process.

所谓的工作经验主要是指你毕业后全职的工作经验， 当然很多学校还是会考虑你的其他工作经验的比如实习，课外活动， 志愿者活动， 学校工作等等。

For example, that great internship at PepsiCo the summerafter junior year won't be factored into your years of work experience. But if you can tell a compelling story about what you gleaned from that experience, admissions committees will be happy to hear that you've got that kind of understanding under your belt.

实习的经验如果你能展示出你在这过程学习到很多， 并表现出了一定的工作能力， 也都可以展示出来。

So…what about all the great research you did with yourmentor and professor while you were in undergrad? Actually, that still doesn't count, since it's not considered full-time permanent employment. Again, you can still find a way to spin this positively--use the experience to talk about what you learned, and what you know you still need to learn from your MBA.
