A选项是错误的，语法笔记中说As with为错误表达法。
是不是只有在这句话中是错误的用法？因为据我所知，as with在语法中是对的，意思是“正如....的情况一样”，看作是as is the same with的省略形式，with后面跟名词、动名词或者从句。
如果是as with 在此句话中是错误的，那么谁可以讲解一下为什么错了？我知道A肯定不如E好。

关于E选项，我认为it是不存在先行词的，它所指代的是"British policymakers raised interest rates”这句话，这样的用法在gmat中不允许吧？难道是形式主语么？
另外我查阅了词典关于it的用法，其中有一个是used to refer to a fact or situation that is already known or hanppening(指已知正在发生的事情或情况)，给出的例句是：“When the factory closes, it will mean 500 people losing their jobs.” 那么，此句中的it用法在gmat中是不是也不被允许？
诚意向各位求解。

不说as with是否正确，those无指代
it应该是形式宾语而不是指代前面那句话
GMAT的语法规则不允许it指代一句话

如何判断it是否为形式主语、形式宾语？我怎么看以上那句的it就是指代全面所发生的一件事情。Hoping to restrain economic growth, British policymakers raised interest rates, making it more expensive for businesses and consumers to borrow.
