Political opinions and analyis outside the mainstream rarely are found on television talk shows, and it might be thought that this state of affeirs is a product of the political agendaof the television atstions themselves. In fact, television ststions are driven by the same economic forces as sellers of more tangible goods. Because they must attempt to ca[ture the largest possible share of the television ordience for their shows, they air only those shows that will appear to large number of people. As a result, political opinions and analysis aired on relevision talk ahows are typically bland and innocuous.

To realize its economic means, TV station only air those programs that attract a large number of people. Thus, non-mainstream political views are arrantly excluded out of the talk shows. What remians on talk shows is mainstream opinion that, as result, turn out to be "less controversial and undisturbing" (bland and innocuous)

31 Therefore, since large number of people are attracted by this kind of program, there must be at least some viewers who dislike controversial and disturbing opinion. B

D the fact that there are shows influenced more by economic concern tells you nothing about the reason why non-mainstrean opinions are not allowed in talk shows.

32 Non-mainstream opinions are exculded out with only mainstream views staying. So, if political opinions are bland and innocuous, they only belong to mainstream. B

E whether boss' idea gets involved will make no difference at the issue.
