前几天把UMBS的提交出去了，然后给他们去email问收没收到我寄去的推荐信什么的。今天收到一个mail说：All application files will undergo a credential check by the assigned Admissions Assistant, before they go to the Reading Committee. Once this credential check is completed you will receive an email confirming your application is complete, or one stating we need more documents. Please wait for this email to answer your questions.
请问这里的credential check 是啥意思呢？是核查申请人的材料真实性吗？还是看你够不够分量呢？
