最后排除剩下了B和C，OG的解释是Independent distorts the original meaning
到底B的independent from和C的independent of区别在哪里呢？
之前有人已经法发过帖子问了，但是还没有回复，想看看路过的CDer有没有留意到这个考点的？

a verb (developed) is always better than a noun.(development), if there is no grammatical issues in two choices.
the author intended to say " independently developed" to emphasize "develop"
However, in C, the light is put on "development", and the intended meaning is distorted.

我觉得是这个意思: independently 这一句是指独立地从一个相同的祖先开始进化
independent from 这一句的意思则被扭曲了，指的是，这个动物的进化和这个相同的祖先没有关系。
这里不能简单地从楼上那位的角度来理解

B里面的develop independently就是说独立进化，
C里面的whose development was indeoendent of就变成了与祖先分离地独立进化
这样理解ok吗？

完了。。。。我自己也一时扯不清楚了。。。。。。。。。。
至少，动词形式的develop 优于名词development

我觉得，C中不能说development was independent of a common ancestor吧，要说也是the development of a common ancestor才能相提并论
