假设是现在时，the combination of + a reliabble ~ and good growing ~后面的谓语动词用单数还是复数？combination还有没有其他情况？

A of B格式做主语，谓语单复数看A
注意：要是B后面跟定从，A of B which/that +v.（单复数看B），因为就近修饰
这里，后跟单数动词，因为主语为combination

至于combination的其他情况，我没有理解你的意思
你可以去字典上查一下他的固定搭配，顺便看下例句，帮助总结
