不太看的懂这个句子的结构……求大牛帮讲讲。。。

分号在这儿是什么作用啊，分号后面的内容和前面部分的关系以及最后的【，and they do】何解啊?

我来试试看哈，
锋号应该是表解释说明或者前后句意平行的作用，这里后半句就是与前半句表达一个意思：他们减价削存货
这里后半句应该是想表达：他们的wines被减价，目的是把他们卖掉，而且他们做到了。
这里的做到了就是they do （sell)
我觉得这题的问题在于and前后的平行问题....如果从句子含义出发应会简单点
