想请问also可以代替and连接两个分句么？！多谢！！

个人理解是，also在这里不是个连词，因为句子主干应该是Bluegrass musician Bill Monroe also inspired many musicians. 不存在分句。

also的确是起到了连接的作用，用法跟and差不多，但是意思跟and有所不同。
and是前后都是一样重要的
also引导的带有主次(also引的是次)

我不同意，also在gmat中是副词，不能做连词用。但是意思确实和and有点像

恩，我前面说错了
also的确不是连词，但是起到了与从句逻辑上的连接

所以像107题这种用法是特例么？also实际上是不能直接代替and的？
