In order to become financially responsible adults, children should learn to manage their own money at young age.

During the growth of adults, the ability to manage income and output becomes more and more essential. While someone begin to have the sense of money management after they become adults, some families try to foster the financial responsibility of children when they are very young. In my person of view, I'd rather agree with the latter practice.

First of all, letting children learn to manage their own money is a way to build and enhance the ability of independent. It won't be unfamiliar to us that one of our roommates usually turns to his or her parents for financial assistant in our university. Their little consciousness of money control, I suppose, is related to the lack of the early education of money management in their childhood. Several researches indicate that more and more young adults live with parents in China because of their deficiency of private financial controlling.In other words,it will be too late for people to develop money management once they become adults.

Besides, being aware of managing the money also assists in ones' realizing of their true interest and cherish what they have owned and selected. As a child, one begins to learn to think throughly of what he or she should purchase with certain amount of money. They may not be allowed to purchase a toy and a book at the same time with the limitation of budget, hence they are required to make a choice. Step by step, when they become adults, they are more likely to be conscious of what they sincerely desire to pursuit.Moreover, offering children the opportunity to arrange their own money is conducive to building their cognition of the preciousness of money. In stead of getting into the never ending cycle of always wanting more and being critical of everything, they are more likely to be appreciative of people around and treasures they gained.

What's more, financial management is beneficial to other aspects of self-management in children’s development,such as planing, consecution and self evaluating.With the training of money management, Children are supposed to form the habit of having an overall budget plan as well as being restricted to the plan. This is beneficial to their further growth or career.

To sum up, I hold the opinion that children should gradually learn to master money management at early age for its advantages as enhancing the ability of independent, finding their true interest and being appreciate and forming their habit of good self-management.
