如果说although后的句子是个完整的句子，那么我能因为它改变了原句的重心而认为它是错的吗？

although引导的是让步状语从句，从句内容要么是与主句内容形成对比转折，要么就是对主句加以限制。

B选项从句说明了一层意思，就是这个矛是怎么命名的，也就是og说的geographically based name；但是，主句说了两层意思（用and连接）：

先说第二层意思，这种矛北美各地都发现过。这与命名的原则（以最初发现地命名）是相违背的，可以与从句构成对比转折。

再说第一层意思，矛上有沟槽，也就是og所说的physical properties。这与从句里说的命名根本不相关，无法构成对比转折，也不是限制。这使得主从句之间不能形成完全让步。

所以，og认为主句和从句的内容存在incompatibility，并且make no sense，说白了就是这种主句买一送一的模式破坏了让步状语从句的基本逻辑关系，使得句群杂乱不知所云。

这道题的启示：SC单抠语法点是不够的，必须要整体把握逻辑关系。

还想问一下a选项，在they are named之前不应该加一个连词吗？要不然这个句子就变成有have been found和are named两个谓语动词了啊
