标题: 关于seem的一道题

Along with the drop in producer prices announced yesterday, the strong retail sales figures released today seem like it is indicative that the economy, although growing slowly, is not nearing a recession.

A like it is indicative that
B as if to indicate
C to indicate that
D indicative of
E like an indication of
我选的的E，我开始看C比较爽，可是我看他后面有个that，那个that后面就只有一个名词。。。可是答案就是C。。。。求解释

C后面接的不是一个名词，是一个句子：the economy, although growing slowly, is not nearing a recession。although growing slowly作为插入语来修饰economy。
E 明显是用词不简洁的表现，Gmat中动词是优先于名词的，名词优先于形容词。所以当可以直接用动词的地方就不要去用名词，否则会显得很不简介。indication是indicate的名词，直接用indicate就能表达句意，不用indication。
另外，E中用了介词of，介词后面是不能接句子的，而原文后面接的是句子，所以E选项错。

谢谢哈~懂了不过请问一下 although 可以直接接名词的么？我以为它后面要跟一个句子的形式呢

growing slowl不是名词啊，是动词ing形式。
although后面是要跟句子的，这里这么用是因为although从句的主语和谓语（即the economy is）和主句的主语和谓语一致，所以可以直接省略。
