您好楼主，我想问一下Pace的话，拿I20时和申F1时的资金证明要拿多少出来？申请的时候不用拿资金证明吧？小弟在美本科一时拿证明不容易。。得等到明年春天资金证明容易点。。。然后想请教一下Pace如果两年Master读下来，大概总费用多少呢？那个graduate assistant竞争是不是很激烈？如果拿到能省多少钱呢？如果能在NYC找到实习，带薪水的话是不是刚好可以抵掉一部分生活费呢？谢谢楼主！

Hello,
学校对GMAT最低分要求是510，平均分在570-580。我个人觉得近几年的平均分应该有涨幅。你的GMAT分数还OK.看看其他requirements,比如GPA和语言成绩，觉得自己有弱项吗？没有明显弱项的话，直接录取应该没太大风险。

Hi,

你可以让你的recommenders,email(gradnyc@pace.edu)或者以扫描传真(1-212-346-1585)的方式直接发到admission office.
记得要让推荐人写明你的信息。不然重名或者没名很难帮你整理材料。

还有个问题想请教前辈，就是Graduate Assistantship的申请，官网写的是send full application and a resume to the Dean Hoghes office.我知道print copy application有这个GAship的application page，但是我用的online applciation就没有这个page。

1.这个GAship能录取了以后申请么？有明显的deadline么？
2.如果邮寄到GAship的email,需要重新写份PDF版的application和要教授的PDF推荐信么？还是只要GAship application的那页page加上resume？

Hi Maple,

只能说学校考虑录取的因素，除了标准考试的成绩之外，还有很多，比如说你的实习或工作经历，推荐人对你的评价等等。

关于成绩的要求，Pace对GMAT没有硬性要求，但550算是一个平均的水平。金融在pace算是比较热门的专业，在准备申请资料的时候要尽量突出自己优势。

Kevin你好！

关于你对GA的报酬问题，Graduate Assistant按工作时间不同，报酬不同。申请到的，每个学期（spring/fall）可以免6-12个学分，就是$6,210-$12,420 的学费，外加$1275-$2,550的补助。但是GA的职位有限，每个学期申请的学生有刚入学的新生也有在校生，所以Yes，GA的竞争很大。GA的申请要求是GMAT 550+；托福100+（你在美年本科应该可以免掉）；GPA3.0+ 具体的GA要求请看链接：http://www.pace.edu/lubin/lubin-academic-programs/graduate-programs/graduate-advisement/graduate-assistantships/

Pace的career service有很多公司招聘的信息，有一半的intern是paid的，但是普遍来说拿到paid的intern比较有挑战。照我的了解，paid的intern是$10-20/小时不等，得看公司了。

Alice学姐好，我请了我两个教授写推荐信。但是Lubin的推荐信是在那个download的PDF里面。里面写的please complete both sides of the form, if you wish to use a letter or different format, please feel free to do so.这个意思是我的教授可以不用这个form，直接email提交他们写的两份推荐信，只要标上我的一些相关信息在标题里么？还是要把表格也填了，然后再attach推荐信？我觉得那个recommendation form有点点不能体现一封信的内容。。。谢谢学姐！

楼主，我在9月底就去pace交了纸质材料，交完那天晚上在网申提交了。
听说pace收到材料会给一个application number，但是我到现在还是什么都没有收到。
我写了邮件问过也没有回应。

Hey Nirvana,

I think you are saying University Identification Number (UID), which you will get after you get accepted.

There is another number: Application Number, which is given automatically once you fill out the online application. You could log in your application portal: https://appsrv.pace.edu/Apply-Graduate/ProgramFiles/createAccount/enterBasicInformation.cfm to have a check.

I bet, like your name, you are a smart person. It is true that the ranking is one of the most important factors that will be taken into consideration. Esp., we international students cares more about the rank.

However, if you think Pace does match you well, don't be bothered by the rank that much! Choose a right place is wiser than choose a good place. There are opportunities here too! And Pace does have many excellent students! Whether you can leverage your own strength and grasp the opportunity, it more depends on you. What's more, we are all responsible for improving Pace's reputation. I believe, a credit from every student will bring Pace a huge improvement.

推荐信是两种方式都可以。也就是可以填推荐信表，或者，可以让推荐人写推荐信。

Hi Lexiie，

Gmat学校的最低要求是510，平均分在570-580，近几年的平均分有可能在上涨，你的GPA也还不错。但学校的录取还会看其他的材料，比如说个人陈述和推荐信等等。

如果托福成绩没有上100的，录取了之后开学之前需要参加placement test，学校会根据test的成绩和托福的成绩来决定你需要念多少门语言课。我的同学中多数是上一个学期的语言，少数上两学期的。语言的学费可以上这个链接看看： http://www.global-pathways.com/how-to-apply/pace-university/prices/

学姐，就是Online APP提交了，申请费付了，教授还在赶推荐信，GMAT12月重考，那，这样的话怎么check my application status? Pace的那个log in 进去只能看到提交的东西，而且PDF下载下来还没我的PS和Resume，我就发给那个gradnyc邮件了。。也没人回。。。就担心下。。毕竟都交了申请费啊= =没人理我我也怕怕。。。能跟我说下等推荐信和GMAT都到了以后会如何嘛？谢谢！！！真心想去Pace的。。。

你的GPA稍稍有点低于3.0的要求哦, T和G的话，都还ok.满足基本要求. 嗯，有希望吧。争取把文书写的好点，充分展示你的优势! 毕竟录取这个过程中counselor是会综合考虑你的情况的。

你申请的是哪个学期？
如果你的材料是邮寄过来的，那不要着急。因为整理和录入系统都要时间。你最近有没有再查申请状态呢？
gradnyc的那个邮箱,因为每天都收到很多学生邮件，大多都是问申请状态，或发申请材料过来，让他们一一回复不太现实的喔。嗯，如果你着急，想要查的话，可以打电话到admission office 212-346-1531.告诉他们你的学号或者其他个人信息就好啦！

你好！我在网申系统里面提交很久了。。然后雅思成绩单1号也寄出去了，official的成绩单也寄了，网上查询前台也签收了。可是那个系统还是没有更新。。而且系统里面最开始查询说我的成绩单缺Undergraduate transcript 2 -- Ohio State Univ Agric Tech。但是这个根本不是我的大学呀。。然后今天查询，突然又多了一个才是我真正的大学，这下子系统里面显示我缺2个大学成绩单。一个是我本来的，一个就是Ohio State Univ Agric Tech..可是我压根没这样填过，请问这个怎么办啊。。特别着急

Don't worry that much! As long as they received your documents, you will be fine. It takes time for them to index all your documents to your record. Just have a check next week to see whether there are any update. As to the wrong record. I would suggest you email gradnyc@pace.edu or gradwp@pace.edu in telling your situation.
Please remember to include your name and student ID number in your email!

Yea, it will be a year if you have to take three semesters pathway program. ummm..maybe you can retake the TOFEL/IELTS? Submit a new one to admission office by the deadline, you may can change the pathway term! Which semester you applied?

楼主你好，我想申请PACE Investment Management，有几点疑问想请教一下。

我的背景：
本科经济学，211/非985，gpa3.67/4，rank 1/80，GMAT 680，T 82 ，商业银行工作一年多（预计到时候有两年左右工作经验），一个券商实习（两个月），志愿活动、奖学金若干。很担心托福成绩，请问这样的条件申MS Investment Management有多大希望呢？
Global Pathways 也是同样录取吗？区别是开学之前先上语言课？那毕业时间是往后推，还是语言课和专业课同时进行而不影响正常毕业呢？
托福还会继续考，想请问下，楼主觉得是现在先拿82这个成绩去申请，若被录取，录取后再提交新的托福成绩来看是否上语言课；还是等考到90+或是100再去申请呢（如果这样的话，担心那时候再着手申请就有点晚了）？
哪种的录取几率大些呢？

Hi Nancy,

Yes, you will have to take the language class if your TOEFL is blow 100. If you are enrolled into term 3, which is only one semester, you can take the academic courses at the same time.

会计专业算是佩斯最出名的专业，机会相对多，但竞争也大。我最近了解到的数据是，2013-2014年，Pace会计专业总共有21个研究生拿到四大会计师事务所的实习（一般在四大实习期间表现优秀，转成全职的机会很大）。

Hello Leo,

You will be Lubin's student, if you get accepted. And yes, you will have to take a semester's pathway course. But meanwhile, you will be allowed to register Lubin's academic course as well.

Sorry about the late respond. According to the admission requirement in language, you will have to take two terms pathway courses. The min. requirement for GMAT is 510, which you absolutely meet the requirement. And the GPA is OK. I don't think the competition is a big problem to you.

Hi Longfei,

It is not that difficult to get graduated from the Pathway Program as long as you follow the professors' instructions and finish the assignments. And I am sure you will get a lot from the courses. Yes, You will be transferred to Lubin's MS program. But I think you may have to re-apply Lubin. It depends on which pathway term you are in.

Your background in Economics, GPA, GMAT and your working experiences are great. As to your TOEFL, you will have to enroll into pathway term 2 program based on the language requirement.

As you are enrolled into two semesters language program, you can not take the academic courses at the same time in the first semester. That means, your graduating time will be postponed for one semester.

Which semester you wanna apply/applied? 2014Spring or Fall?

Hi Soleiil,

Yea, you will have to take one semester's English Class. However, you are eligible to register academic courses as well. That means you could take the Language class and the academic course at the same time.

The tuition fee for the pathway program is $8925/term. The tuition fee for Lubin is $1075/credit.

一个semester是pathway program里的term 3.有且仅有一个学期。根据你的雅思成绩，如果录取的话，应该只需要上一个学期。

It's still early for next fall's admission process. And it usually takes 4-6 weeks for the counselors to give you the admission result after you submit all the needed documents. So, make sure you submit all the docs. to graduate admission office! Good luck!

Hi davidarchie,

All the MS programs are 1year-2.5years. It's really depend on how many credits you have to take and how many courses you register for each semester.

As of full time International students, you will have to take at least 9 credits per semester to keep your F-1 visa status. And Pace does provide 2 summer sessions, you can take summer courses if you want to finish your program faster.

I'm not that sure about the specific percentage. But it is true that Chinese students takes prob. 70% of the international students, which i think is true to many of the other business schools.

As to the job market, I believe, there are always opportunities! And it is not easy but not that hard for MSA students to get an internship here. : )

That's great, chaseddd! Well, the admission office is going to close from tomorrow till Jan. 2nd or 3rd, 2014 for Christmas and New year. Hopefully, you could get the result by March!

Hi Missoffer:

Pace关于录取分数方面的硬性标准是 GMAT 不低于510(当然这只是最低分，水涨船高的道理，咱们中国学生懂得啦)，GPA3.0, 雅思6.5要上两个学期的Pathway,(详情可以参照首页附件中的Language Requirement).申请成功的可能性的话，我觉得也取决你Personal Statement等文书的内容吧。要突出你的个人特色很重要哦！

你好，

根据你的雅思成绩要上两个学期的语言课程（细节请参考首页附件中关于语言的要求）。就业率我们手上暂时没有权威数据。在纽约实习的话，还是不难找到的，至于去西海岸或者南加州的话，我觉得完全看个人能力吧。毕竟在和大部分同学教育背景没有什么太大差别的情况，个人能力才是凸显自己唯一的方法。

这位同学你好，Pace大学lubin商学院MSA的标准学分是51个，具体需要修多少学分是看你本科的学校，专业以及成绩的情况，如果是international student的话需要做成绩认证。美国各个州对于考CPA的要求是不一样的，纽约州是最严格的的。我们以纽约州为例，需要总共120个学分才能参加报名考试，需要150个学分才能拿到资格证书。其他的一些州可能要求会低一些。所以具体够不够资格参加CPA考试的话还需要进一步的evaluation。

谢谢楼主，那这是不是意味着就算我读硕士顺利毕业拿到51个学分，但我也没资格靠Cpa吧？

不好意思，回复的有点慢~你本科应该也是商科吧？能拿到MSA offer的应该都是有商科基础的~建议你到这边以后尽快去做一个international transcript evaluation吧，然后看看能换到多少个学分~再加上MSA的51个，应该是可以的~

financial risk management 的课程如果没有可以waive的课，总共是有37个学分。Lubin2013-2014的每个学分是$1075。

我以前是在3月的时候收到录取通知的。但不妨发邮件问问什么时候会有decision。

Sorry for late reply. Higher score is better. For Lubin Business school, you need one year and a half language program with TOEFL 79.

1)If your the program of Pathway, you will be admitted by Pace when you pass the language program. Or you are in the English Language Institute(ELI) program in Pace. You need reapply to Pace University.

2)Not tough, but you need to study hard and meet the requirements.

3)We have both day time classes and night classes, you can choose what you want.

Sorry in English, cause it's compute in school

The formal recommend letter is sent by mail. If you submit on line, it's fine. Please send a email or make a phone call to make sure the office received your letter.

You can finish all 3 terms language program in one year, but in the last term of language, in your situation, is 2015 summer. you can take one academic course. In other words, you will take 2 language courses and one academic course in 2015 summer. Then, you will be a formal student in Pace.

Intern opportunities will be always there, especially, in NYC. Preparing yourself is more critical than waiting for a intern hits you.

您好~！

想请问一下，我前两天无法登陆Pace Portal的网页了，在white page 上也查不到自己的信息。但是在那个global-pathways的网页上可以用用户名登陆。在这之前可以登陆的时候看的状态是decision made，发邮件问学校，学校回复说3月31日已经寄出纸质录取结果，如果我想要的话可以核实一下地址再发一份。

所以我想问下，这种情况是录取了还是没录取呢？能有其他方式查询一下吗，或者可不可以麻烦您帮忙查一下呢？
