看了语法笔记有两个点不太清楚，请帮忙解释a项为什么是错的，which修饰fairy tales表示解释说明作用不行吗？然后while在这句话中为什么不能表达“然而”的意思？

which是Non-essential修饰语句，即去除它也不导致句意不理解。那我们不妨把A的两个which从句去掉：
Hans Christian Andersen wrote fairy tales, while he wrote plays, novels, poems, and travel books, as well asseveral autobiographies.
while在这里无法作转折用，句意不通；理解成“当”倒是语法逻辑没错误，但我印象里是不是应该用过去进行时？

而E选项，是用了essential的that从句，而且逻辑意思更对：
Although Hans Christian Andersen wrote fairy tales that are among the most frequently translated works in literary history, his plays, novels, poems, andtravel books, as well as several autobiographies, remain almost unknown outside his native Denmark.
是做了 most frequently translated works与 almost unknown 的对比，although没问题

感谢haiyueqinhui～～～我已经明白了，去掉修饰语就明了很多，这道题的考点除了考转折词还有就是限定性定从和非限定定从的区别。
