我选的是Ａ．水妖笔记中给的答案是Ｂ，它给的译文是＂新石器时代大多数的重要发展都在于食物的生产，而非石器的制造．＂　为什么译文不能是＂新石器时代最重要的发展在于食物的生产，而非石器的制造．＂？

melody8818 MM, 你确认了真题的答案吗? 我也觉得这道题是选A.
如果most在这里表示"大部分"的话,后面应该接可数n复数才对.
我觉得原句的意思应该是"新石器时代最重要的发展不是石器的制造,而是食物的生产."

觉得b对，绝大多数地在。。。。在。。。。方面，如果后面是具体地什么发明或东西用the most 是不是就更好！个人意见！

那如果按水妖的句意，这句话用ＭＯＳＴ到底错在哪？

这题我说不太清楚，还望XDJM们指点。

我是这样想的：
假设此题ＭＯＳＴ含义是“大多数”，
若它是adj，则有adj+adj+N形式，在此句意下，不太符合修饰规则
若它是adv,在这种省略the的most+adj中，most=very，这种用法要求泛指.而原句中有时间概念of the Neolithic age 。
故，我得出B错。

+ uncountable
" Most imortant development of" just doesn't sound right.
