答案：A. wild salmon’s numbers have been reduced by uncontrolled deep-sea and coastal netting,

根据平行不难推出答案，但是答案中的the wild salmon's numbers是否正确？想请教一下大家~

因为manhattan中有说whenever you have a time period, quantity, or other measurement as the first word keep prep. phrase with "of". You should generally avoid using a possessive ('s of s') to modify a measurement.

不知 the number of salmon has been reduced by...是不是更加恰当！！虚心请教~~谢谢各位了~

只是一个suggestion，不要当时rule来背诵。
wild salmon’s numbers 这个表达没有歧义，因为wild显然是修饰salmon的。
当A Bs' Cs形式的possessive出现，
若是A既可以修饰B，也可以修饰C时，才出现歧义。

另外
Bs' verbing的形式好像是GMAT非常厌恶的表达方式，实在选不出来的时候可以优先排除掉。

请问这句话什么意思啊？ as后边是个句子吗？如果不是为什么会有动词keep.如果是前边的句子感觉不太完整啊。
楼主能帮忙翻译一下吗？

keep前面还有个逗号，sorry，我打的时候落下了！这是manhattan里的一句话。whenever you have a time period, quantity, or other measurement as first word, keep the prep. phrase with "of".后面是个祈使句！

谢谢~你还特意找出来，这个句子倒是可以理解的，而我说的那个句子，因为number是个quantity，所以与manhattan上的描述不符，所以迷惑了一下~

然后你说的那个句子，a phenomenon做global warming的同位语，和用which修饰global warming，这两个表达是不是都是可以的吖？不过貌似同位语比较简洁。。。

the number of salmon has been reduced by个人认为也是可以的，number的单复数不是问题，关键是后面谓语配合就好。
A's B和 B of A感觉ETS没有特别的偏好，也没有见过题目两个选项只有这个区别的，所以还是得具体题目具体分析。
The World Wildlife Fund has declared that global warming, a Phenomenon most scientists agree to be caused by human beings in burning fossil fuels, will create havoc among migratory birds by altering the environment in ways harmful to their habitats.

(A)a phenomenon most scientists agree to be caused by human beings in burning fossil fuels,

这里C选项即正确答案是绝对正确的，因为只有它表示了phenomenon由human beings' burning of fossil fuels这个动作导致的。
