1这个句子怎么没有主语？
2each修饰colonies那么远可以吗？不是要贴近修饰吗独立主格？还有不会有修饰havens的歧义吗？

去掉插入语

each不可能修饰havens，否则就如你所说，是一个run-on sentence.
