其他选项有可能增强有可能无关有可能削弱程度比正确答案小

但是这道题说的是有哪个不相关，相关的选项我看了感觉不相关，所以难判断。

People responsible for making hiring andpromotion decisions in the biomedical research field, however, are influencedmuch more by the overall impact that a candidate's scientific publications haveon his or her field than by the number of those publications.

D.People responsible for hiring or promoting biomedical researchers canreasonably be expected to make a fair assessment of the overall impact of acandidate's publications on his or her field. 人事的负责人能正确衡量应聘者论文的影响力 (agree)
E.Biomedical researchers can substantially increase their chances of promotion byfragmenting their research findings so that they are published in severaljournals instead of one. 研究者可以通过把一篇论文分成几部分分别发表，增加自己发表文献的数量，从而提高自己升职的竞争力。(题干已经说了，应聘者发表的数量再多，没有影响力也没有用，因此反对了E选项中企图增加数量的小把戏）

Thanks for your reply. I agree with most of your analysis except the fourth choice. The meaning of the choice should be "有时未发表的但是有潜在的科学重要性的文章也会被作为是否是否雇佣的考虑中去。＂

If you don't mind, can we become studying friend so we can discuss some topics sometimes?
