答案是A，我选了E。从（30）开始定位思来想去都是E呀，求大神指点！！

怎么会是E呢？

前边已经说了，当同时……，就会大量生长。 aspen groves experience a “disturbance.就是同时呼应前边loses many stems。
文中也说了如果它不experience fire or some other disturbance。它就会停止生长，并且instead . coniferous trees will invade the aspen grove’s borders

E中并不是火烧坏了coniferous trees 保护了aspen. 而是火烧刺激了aspen的生长，使得它不被coniferous trees 遮盖。
