标题: 请教一个语法点关于歧义的
A government advisory committee in Japan called for the breakup of Nippon Telephone and Telegraph Company 里面的in japan会不会有修饰歧义？可以理解为修饰前面的名词也可以修饰后面的东西？

我认为：不会有歧义
很清楚地修饰着前面的 A government advisory committee

但是在G中的确会有此考点，由于你未把题目po上来= =
我拿RON在其他题目中曾用到的关于介词短语位置不同修饰歧义的例子，你看看，可以感受一下

My friend from Florida came to the bar. --he's originally from F
My friend came to the bar from Florida. --3000 miles is long, long way to go for some beers.

我知道C是最好的，我的意思是不会有修饰后面动词的歧义吗就是介词短语是可以修饰名词也可以修饰动词，放在句首不会更好吗

我懂你的意思，
但这里应该强调的是这个government advisory committee是in Japan的，
而不是committee called for...这件事在日本发生。。
十分细微的差别

如果你想in Japan修饰尽量没有歧义，就是直接放在所修饰词的后面啊~放句首反而更有修饰整个句子（即谓语动词）的倾向。。。
我感觉是这样的哈。。
