答案是D，我选了C。
看语法笔记的解释说Based on 和 According to的逻辑主语不应该是young Athenian women所以直排ABC。可我觉得后面的主句也可以是一件具体的事实呀
如果是如答案解释那样的话，那Based on 和 According to的逻辑主语一般是什么？

PREP is saying something nonsensically related to the elimination of OPTION C.

As an adverbial, "According to" can, of course, modify the the entire clause. The real split between C and D lies their meanings:

"
Both OPENERS are fine ('According to...' and '...indicate that...'), so that split is a red herring. The problem with C, though, is the last part of the answer choice: 'that they used to dress.' All this means FOR SURE is that the robe was just a tool that the women used in the process of dressing the statue (maybe they used it to zip up the back of the statue's dress...??). Choice D, on the other hand, correctly conveys the idea that the women actually put the dress ON the statue."

我觉得是因为that的平行并列，a,b,c的前半部分的that后面跟的都是they指代的也就是women，但是通过未画线句子的判断发现that后面跟着的是this robe depicted scenes of a battle between Zeus，这样会造成句子不平行且逻辑主语混乱的状态，所以只能选d项 indicate that each year young Athenianwomen collaborated to weave a new woolen robe with which they dressed，句子结构一目了然。

Agree...this is more obvious!
That they used to dress can't parallel that this robe depictde scenes of a battle...

Noun can't parallel a sentence!
