答案是D，我选了C。
看语法笔记的解释说Based on 和 According to的逻辑主语不应该是young Athenian women所以直排ABC。可我觉得后面的主句也可以是一件具体的事实呀
如果是如答案解释那样的话，那Based on 和 According to的逻辑主语一般是什么？

According to不需要逻辑主语，但是based on需要

这道题你还是没有看出来，楼上两位同学也没说到点上。这是一个并列平行结构的问题，AB的based on无需再提，逻辑主语等于主句主语句意错误；主要给你说说C错在哪里。非划线部分找解题点，后面的and that this rope可以看出是不是一个定语从句，而C中的a rope that they used to dress是一个定语从句，说明两个that修饰的内容不是同一个内容。费划线部分的that从句是indicate的宾语从句而划线部分的that从句是定语从句修饰rope，所以不能并列平行。由于indicate that在非划线处，是句子里一定对的成分，而且它在后面，所以它前面一定有一个宾语从句和它并列平行。所以答案很清楚就是D， that and that同时做indicate的宾语从句说明indicate的内容，完美的并列平行
