选B，我想问问大家。选B的理由是不是因为although 后面是she. 所以主句也应该用人做主语。所以如C选项主语是it was not until,就错了。但C选项是强调句。这么用为何不可？不明白为何不选C

which was应该用were，一般来说没必要强调的

同意二楼。划线句末应该用which were，因为which指代的是hearings，这种指代不会有歧义，因为which前符合复数形式的名词也只有hearings。
如果说用which was，那么which was之前很多单数名词都可能是被修饰的对象，如President Richard Nixon，如Impeachment，这就造成了歧义。

关于Although的问题，我个人觉得是这样的：
1、GMAT里肯定有Although A，B的句式，且A和B的主语不同，如OG 第3题的题干：
Although a surge in retail sales have raised hopes that there is a recovery finally under way, many economists say that without a large amount of spending the recovery might not last.
2、但是这个句子中，Although引导的从句中的主语是一个代词she，这就意味着在主句中需要将这个she明确的指定出来，所以主句的主语是barbara的话不是比it更明了了吗？
