答案是E可以理解。但是为什么A不对？arguing以全句作主语表示结果？

这句必须有因果关系，publish不能导致arguing。只有在a treatise 中，才能argue，而且不是argue for women 而是argued for rights才合逻辑。

主要是A中的a treatise不对，这里的 a treatise 让人误认为和 Discourse on Women不是一回事。但按照句义，应该是同一东东
