这道题我研究了一晚上看了上面几个大牛们之前写的帖子后，仍然存在以下问题：

问题1：B选项如果把FOR去掉，按照NN们的说法，句子将变为：The cost of running Nuclear Plants is about the same as other types of plants. 从而形成了cost of running Nuclear plants和（cost of） other types of plant的比较较。我能明白这两个是无关比较（核电厂的营运费用 VS 其它类型电厂的成本）。请问这都体现了AS比较句型省略的哪些知识点？它为什么不可以还原成(the cost of running) other types of plants?

问题2：B选项不去掉FOR直接还原，句子将变为: The cost of running Nuclear Plants is about the same as (the cost for/ the cost of running) other types of plants. 请问这个还原依照的是什么语法规则（换句话说这个还原都体现了AS比较句型省略的哪些知识点）？ the cost for other types of plants 为什么会等价于 the cost of running other types of plants? 为什么用for 而不是of，是因为固定搭配 cost for +名词，cost of +动名词吗？

已经凌晨3点多了这道题折磨了我一天睡不着学妹在此谢过各位哥哥姐姐了！

这个用for和of会导致意思变了，这里用for意思上才说的通

首先谢谢大神！看完这个帖子以后我能明白用of的时候比较对象发生了变化，变成了核电厂的运营成本和其他类型电厂的成本比较，所以错误。但是为什么用for就能消除歧义，表达其他类型电厂的运营成本呢？我知道语法基础薄，还望大神耐心讲解。

这其实不是一个语法问题是一个单词的意思问题，
You use for after words such as 'time', 'space', 'money', or 'energy' when you say how much there is or whether there is enough of it in order to be able to do or use a particular thing.

再次谢谢大神指点！可是我还不是很明白这个关于for的解释~~这个for通俗的说究竟是什么意思呢？我的理解是：of的意思是什么什么的，属于， for的意思是对于，就什么而言，所以这里只能用for，对么？~
