想问下这句是什么与什么的对比？是time与time的对比还是一个文明与另外两个文明的对比？
不是说as表示对比的时候只能借整个句子吗？为什么这里as之后跟的是短语啊？

as the civilizations （flourished）in the Nile Delta....
这样省略了flourished 避免重复

请问牛牛，这个比较是严格对应的吗？谁和谁对应啊...看不太懂...
