OG解释说 CD的which指代 emission指代错误，那为什么A的which就没有问题？

正好重温到曼哈顿修饰的这一章，名词性修饰语可以跳跃指代的情况，就包括跳过定义性质的短语，也即是说，A中的called proton-induced X-ray emission是给technique的一个定义，如果没有这个短语，technique单独存在没有任何意义。

manhattan上面的例句：He had a way OF DODGING OPPONENTS that impressed the scouts.
that跳过了大写的部分修饰way。曼哈顿上面的解释：Without this modifier, the noun WAY is almost meaningless.

+1。Manhattan管这个叫mission critical modifier（对表意起到重大作用的修饰语）, 由that which引导可以不满足touch rules（就是关系代词必须紧跟先行词）

A中called proton induced X-ray emission是a technique的修饰语
不同与此，C、D中called...emission前后有逗号，是插入语，扔掉之后句子表意应该仍然完整，所以也可以理解为which修饰的是air pollutants。
