when a subordinating conjunction connectstwo complete clauses, those clauses don't have to be written in parallel form-- the only requirement is that each of them be a complete sentence on its own

我的理解：逻辑上对等就好

下面是OG的一个题目和解释

136. Whereas in mammalsthe tinv tubes thatconvey

nutrients to bone cells are arraved inparallel lines, in

birds the tubes form a random pattern.

(A) Whereas in mammals the tiny tubes thatconvey

Idiom; Rhetorical construction; Parallelism

Whereasintroduces two contrastingsituations

or events and should be followed byparallel

structures. In this sentence,whereasis

immediatelyfollowed by a clause beginning

with theprepositionalphrase in mammals;this

means that the second part of thesentencemust

also be a clause that openswithapreposition that

functions in the same way—inthis case, inbirds.

This structure clarifies that the thingsbeing

contrasted are the tubes in mammalsand the

tubes in birds. Incorrectversions of thesentence

grammatically contrast tubes and birds,mammals

and tubes, or birdsand mammals.

从原则上讲，主句和从句当然没必要平行；但是，能平行最好，因为我们讲平行，目的就是逻辑上通常，看起来易懂；

比如OG13-52题说and前后两个并列的主句，主语一致最好；
OG13-114题说if... then...的结构，主句和从句要么都主动，要么都被动；

这些都不是绝对的原则，但能美观则美观，能易懂则易懂

那您的意思是不管professor说的还是按照OG 因为OG上是能平行都喜欢平行的TAT

OG是上帝。。

那句话你试着翻译成中文，其实我们中文也习惯前后平行啊。语言表达，无非是为了美观易懂

我是今年5月开始准备的上班族每天下班和周末复习。。不过我刚毕业一年多哈准备今年十月或十一月考一把
