答案是A。我当时做的时候因为publisher of The Washington Post中it不能指代 The Washington Post直接把ABC都排除了。。。。= =
我也忘了我是在哪里看到的，好像是某个NN的语法笔记，说A of B，it不可指代B。。。不知道这个是相对错误还是绝对？
我实在太不认真了。。。。现在也找不到那个笔记了。。。。网上找了一个多小时了。。还是木有结论！！！！
后天就要三战了。。。。现在还在垂死挣扎。。。求各位XDJM帮忙~~~~~~~
PS：目前各个选项的错误基本还是懂一点，主要是这个A of B，it不可指代B的这个知识点希望得到大家解答！！！！

OG对A的解释是，because the sloth is the object of a preposition and not the subject of the sentence, there is no reasonable antecedent for the pronoun it.

可以从未划线的its得到线索，而且正确句子里还出现了the paper，可以知道it的指代。

这个。。。我知道可以看出来it指代什么，但是这种语法结构有没有错误？
还是说只要能根据意思退出it指代什么，在A of B这种结构里，是可以指代B的？

喔~~~~~~我懂了！乃的意思是既然未划线部分出现了，那就可以默认指代没有问题？

it 不可以指代the paper吗？its 和it的指代物应该是同一个，虽然不同的所有格。
