正确答案是A。我是同意的。我的问题在于选项B。OG的答案解释B项中，over the past twenty years是修饰adulthood的。但是to adulthood是一个介宾语结构，介宾结构里的名词一般不是修饰不到吗？？？？？？

OG没错啊，经常耍的把戏之一，misplaced modifier！介词短语修饰preceding noun,一定要根据逻辑判断清楚modifier的位置是否正确...

LS的 misplaced modifier的解释很对，即使是修饰不到介宾结构，over the past twenty years在这个位置上也没办法修饰having amassed。

那再请问，会不会是修饰development呢？我经常搞不清修饰。
