covering，accommodating，这里Ving的形式不能用作谓语动词。

其实我更感兴趣的是C和E中的with结构为什么错了。个人认为此处用with有使得a third伴随主语的嫌疑，而根据句意，a third应该是指elephant而不是forest。

C和E的with结构很难说有什么错误,但C和E有更明显的错误点，比如C选项中a third 表达的错误，以及domesticated 无法修饰a third。E选项中accommodating作为谓语动词错误。

CE中with的用法确实是错的。
with的结构表述的成分和修饰的成分必须有因果和状态上的联系，forest ...和 elephant..完全两件事情，不能用with强行连接起来。

只能被覆盖不能主动,covered做定语修饰forest accomodated才是真正主语

这里WITH独立结构只是补充说明，这里很难说错，这不是C和E的主要错误点，最明显错误点还是定语和谓语的错误。

大家说的都很对，E选项我之前没注意谓语错了。C的话还是感觉with伴随的主语forest不能用a third来修饰，其实with+宾语+宾补本身就是个独立主格结构，不过with要有正确的伴随对象。比如下面这句话：
With children’s programming limited at one time to a few hours a week, now at least four cable networks have dedicated themselves entirely to shows produced specifically for children.其中的with结构就明显用错了，因为with后面的宾语和宾补无法伴随four cable networks.而且这里的两件事发生有先后次序，所以表示同时伴随的结构（比如while)都是不合适的
